"Ohi Day" - Sunday 25th October 2020
Dear members and friends of our Community
On Sunday 25/10/2020 we will commemorate our National Day and the historic occasion of 'Ohi" with a Celebratory Doxology in church.
Timings
9:00am to 12:15pm Matins and Divine Liturgy
12:15pm to 12:35pm Celebratory Doxology
12:35pm to 2:00pm Souvlakia sit in and take away
Our volunteers will prepare freshly cooked souvlakia (kebabs) straight after the Divine Liturgy and Doxology to commemorate the occasion.
Costs (all profits to community fund raising)
For souvlakia
Adults: £10 with a drink, £8 for takeaway
Children (up to 12 years old): £5 with a drink, £4 takeaway.

Due to the current measures and to maintain social distancing, our School pupils will be commemorating the occasion the day before in school by individual class and not with us in church.

Τη Κυριακή 25/10/2020, θα τιμήσουμε την Εθνική μας εορτή και επέτειο του ιστορικού "ΟΧΙ" με Πανηγυρική Δοξολογία στην εκκλησία μας ως συνήθως.
Πρόγραμμα
9.00πμ to 12.15μμ Όρθρος και Θεία Λειτουργία
12.15μμ to 12.35μμ Πανηγυρική Δοξολογία
12.35μμ to 2.00μμ Σουβλάκια στην αίθουσα ή πακέτο
Οι εθελοντές μας θα ετοιμάσουν σουβλάκια της ώρας (στα κάρβουνα) αμέσως μετά τη Θεία Λειτουργία για να γιορτάσουμε την Εθνική μας εορτή.
Τιμές (τα έσοδα είναι για τις ανάγκες της Κοινότητας)
Ενήλικες: £10 με ένα ποτό, πακέτο £8
Παιδιά (μέχρι 12 ετών): £5 με ένα ποτό, πακέτο £4.

Λόγω των ισχύοντων μέτρων η χωρητικότητα της αίθουσας μας είναι περιορισμένη για αυτό τα παιδιά του Ελληνικού μας Σχολείου θα γιορτάσουν στις τάξεις τους το Σάββατο αντί με τη συνηθισμένη σχολική γιορτή όπως κάθε χρόνο.
